Small Votive
Do I have to have centerpieces?
We are having a small reception, and we have spent more than I wanted to on flowers. I was thinking of a votive candle on a mirror and then flower petals, but I don’t know if I want to spend anymore money! My mom wants to decorate the room with tulle and other things, but I am thinking of not doing that either. Just table cloths and then the bouquets on the head table. It’s a small room fitting 50 people, and the walls have the look of stone. What do you guys think?
I think that a few candles and flower petals on the table would give it a nice touch – but I would skip the tulle and other decorations. I think you should just keep it simple.
But honestly, if you don’t want to have centerpieces you really don’t have to. No one is going to really notice. Most of the weddings that I have gone to I couldn’t remember their centerpieces…♥
